Erin & Noah Wendt

Erin & Noah Wendt
Teaching Family Values

As the parents of two young, active children, Erin and Noah Wendt understand what it means to want the very best care available for their kids. After both of their children, Harper and Daphne, were born and served by Blank Children's Hospital, they had a greater appreciation for the important role a dedicated children's hospital plays in the lives of children and families. As parents, it brings them great peace of mind to know the very best in pediatric care is right here in Central Iowa.

Erin feels very fortunate to have been part of the Blank Children's Hospital family as an employee. It did not take her long to see, first-hand, how the gifts from donors made a difference in the lives of others. She soon joined in supporting the hospital with gifts to the Child Life Program.

Erin and Noah have continued to support Blank Children's Hospital and have started to teach their children about the importance of helping others. For the past couple of years their oldest daughter, Harper, has created and sold bracelets to raise money for the hospital as part of the Shining Stars program. Daphne, wanting to be like her older sister, has joined in the effort too.

When Erin and Noah were updating their will, they were purposeful in their commitment to include a future gift to support the Child Life program at Blank Children's Hospital. Even though they are young, and their children are small, making this commitment now was important to them. Not only do they want to continue their support of a place that means so much to them, but they also see this gift as a way to show their values and teach their daughters about giving to help others.
